Concrete Foundation

This is where all the initial support is created with the first element of the memorial structure. We use the highest quality produced concrete foundations in the UK that are authorised by the NAMM code of working practice. They are reinforced for extra strength and support and are selected individually to every memorial as some larger burial plots and various ground types sometimes require a larger length, width and depth to span the appropriate area for the better quality of fixing. This can be added to an existing memorial to update and improve the safety and visually improve your memorial.

Ground Anchor

This is a vital fixing component which is linked through the required foundation and into the base of the memorial. The system we use is to the NAMM code of working practice and quite simply provides peace of mind the your memorial will not fall over. Some headstone prior to the 90’s may not have a ground anchor fixing system and can be added to your memorial to provide extra safety with the current regulations.

Terrazzo / Granite Foundation

As standard we include all memorials to be fixed onto a Terrazzo foundation. These can be made to any size or specification, weather this be to raise your memorial out of the ground or provide support for the memorial. As an upgrade you can select a Granite foundation. This is a higher quality due to the material not been concrete based and provides your memorial with not only a vital part in the support structure but ensures a limited amount of discolouring over the years and easier maintenance. Again this can be added to a new memorial or an existing and can be made to any size, colour or specification.

Stainless Steel Threaded Dowels

These are the safety fixings that link the memorial head to the memorial base. They are to the NAMM specification. Holes are cored into the depth of the memorial base and the memorial head. These are then filled with cement that then binds around the threaded dowels for fixing.
